Recognition of the separation between oneself and others, between 'I' and 'You'. The keeping of balance while making choices of all kinds, light / dark, male / female, good / bad, Yin / Yang.

The polarity reveals the conflicts, problems, and apparent separation created by the dual thoughts. The challenge is to balance the extremes.

Observe what you like and what you dislike. Identify the obstacles. Give your attention to the Voice of your Heart and take Its concerns into account. The Intention of Eight is Harmony.

Eight carefully shows consideration for all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the tremendous power of the fractal organization, "As above, so below" or "as outside, so inside"..

From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. It is the one that gives form and works on integrity.
All the different points of view and angles are visible and acceptable, since it is the only way to be in harmony. It is embracing our imperfections.

Going from one step to the next higher step.
Thirteen symbolizes the 'Mayan' Zero. In the Mayan culture, Zero is a potential. It represents the 'emptiness' but in the sense of the Whole. It is empty since no choice has yet been made but all possibilities are accessible. All possibilities are present in Zero. This is the beginning and the end of the cycle. The experience of the cycle fills Thirteen with a new potential.
